BANKIA ANNOUNCES AN EXPRESS PROCEDURE TO RETURN GROUND CLAUSES

On Monday, Bankia announced an express procedure so that all clients with a mortgage with a ground clause , regardless of the year, could ask for the refund of the extra money they paid with interests.

Bankia will check the request of each affected and will calculate the amount to give back. The bank will offer several options to its clients: to refund the money in the account, to pay cash at that moment or to amortize the amount corresponding to the payment of the mortgage.
